Precious-Gold rose on Wednesday ahead of the release of Fed minutes that will provide clues about the timing of hiking interest rates. The yellow metal hit a high of $1124.03 an ounce, while it currently trading at $1122.40, after opening at $1117.55. The focus later in the day would by on the Fed minutes for July 28-29 policy meeting, where the recent progress in U.S. economic data has raised speculations the Fed would raise interest rates next month.
