Gold Steadies Near Three-Week Low Amid Uncertainty About Fed, China

Precious-Gold held near its lowest level three weeks on Tuesday, amid uncertainty about the Federal Reserve interest rate outlook and the situation in China. The yellow metal hit a low of $1118.46 an ounce, while it currently trading at $1119.60, after opening at $1118.49. The U.S. jobs report released on Friday failed to provide evidence whether the Fed would raise interest rates in September.
