Gold has undoubtedly been the comeback kid of 2016 and February was one of its best months on record. The change has been dramatic as just two short months ago money managers were scrambling to boost their short exposure to gold as expectations of US rate hikes made the precious metal unattractive to hold. Now it's the best performing commodity.
