USD index retreated modestly on Monday, following the rally last Friday as Fed Chair Janet Yellen noted that the chance of additional rate hike has strengthened. Risky assets continued to retreat. With the exception of Japanese equities, Asian stock markets have softened a tad at the time of writing this article. Japan's Nikkei 225 index has gained more than +2% as Japanese yen weakened.
