Volume quantification of malignant pleural mesothelioma

Conclusion: A new developed software tool showed that SUVmax, SUVpeak, TLG and MTV are all significant PET/CT parameters to predict survival in patients with malignant pleural mesothelioma. A prospective study should be performed to asses the possibility for chemotherapy response monitoring using this tool. (Source: European Respiratory Journal)
